Sunday after church, we headed to the local zoo with a picnic lunch in tote. It was probably one of the nicest days we have seen in a while - not too hot and not too cold! We saw tons of cool animals like: a Bengal Tiger so up close and personal it was scary; a Mommy lion with her 4 little baby cubs that were crawling all over her; and numerous birds which actually landed on our Popsicle sticks so we were able to feed them. It was a perfect family day.
On a completely separate side note, Brent and I found out this week that we had another miscarriage even with the shots and medicine. Thus, we are putting all of this baby talk on hold until we are emotionally able to face the road ahead. We have an exciting next couple of months with going to visit Chelsea in Cali, visiting G&G in Indy, watching Teri get married in Vegas, and then another family adventure to New Mexico. I truly believe that the Lord is just letting us know that there is another purpose for us right now and when the time is right everything will fall into place, if the time is ever right. We are very blessed and not a day goes by where we do not know that - I mean really... we have each other!
