Baby Rockwood Going Strong!!!

Just a little update....we had another Dr's appt today and all looked good. We got to hear the heartbeat again, which let me tell you is just wonderful to listen to. I even joked with the Dr. if I could take that little Doppler home so anytime I got nervous I could just listen away :) No luck...but he said I could come in anytime! We even met up with our previous Dr. today as we were waiting and he was really sweet and genuinely excited for us - his vote was for a girl...but who knows how accurate a medical specialist who has been in the field for over 25 years opinion is anyway!!! Only time will tell! Have to go in next week for some more blood draws; however all those tests are coming back really good. YEAH! Other than that news, it is raining here and the girls are playing outside! It is actually quite amusing to watch them. I will try to snap some photos if they don't come inside before I get out there. LUMUKU,

Sorry...sleeping on the job!

What can I tell y'all about our lives? Well, we recently had a visit from my Dad and brother while they were on their way to Austin, Texas. That was really nice for them to reconnect with all of us! They brought down some of my boxes that have been stored in WI and the girls just loved going through it! The girls found some of my old barbies, which they are enjoying playing with - and then there were some old dance costumes, which I think they just got a bigger kick out of trying on and laughing at! Seeing your kids wear clothes that you wore when you were in highschool is a real hoot! The pictures are from Kaitlyn's fashion show of dance costumes...Addison just wanted to play with the barbies all day long (she even made voices for the different dolls...too cute!).

Also, we had a visit from a blast from the past: Nathan Purdue. The girls got a kick out of getting to know someone that knew their Daddy when he was younger. It was certainly nice to see Brent have some QT!

Kaitlyn started a soccer camp today, but because of the heat she has to be there at 7:30am. She did great and loved bouncing around with the other girls - and yes I mean bouncing because when she gets excited she sort of runs and skips all at the same time...sort of looks like bouncing! Addison did great too as she came with me and played with an extra ball on the sidelines. One of the coaches was watching her play and said that if I don't mind she can play tomorrow as long as she follows along with the older kids. So she is SO EXCITED to go to SOCCER CAMP TOO! However, here is what Mommy has gained from the soccer camp: I am not nor do I think I ever will be a morning person! Now, I am just fearful about when the kids start real school and they need to be there by 7:15am or so....we lucked out this upcoming year as Kaitlyn got the lottery for afternoon school rather than morning (starts at 1pm - yeah!). I was kind of thinking God was giving me a little softball there cause he knows I will be quite tired come October, November, December, January, February...you get the point:)

Anywho, I think that is all she wrote for this post. Baby Rockwood is doing great - we see the Dr. again July 27th - just about half way there, which is amazing! I know Chelsea, Amy, Sarah, Tara, Cortney and whoever else has begged for another photo...I will post one this week as I certainly look pregnant these days!

LOVE YOU, MISS YOU, KISS YOU.....

Hey 32, are you really THIRTY-TWO????

Brent's Birthday was so much fun to celebrate this year as we were able to meet him at his office and take him out to lunch. We have never been able to do that before with all the traveling so this was so exciting for us girls! We went for pizza and then of course ICE-CREAM!!! Later in the day Brent met up with us at Addy and Kate's baseball games and then we headed home to have cupcakes (which the girls and I made - loaded with icing) and open gifts. Here are some photos from the big day! I can't believe my sweetie is 32!

Our 4th of July Celebration

Oh, what a great day!! Seriously, I think I love the 4th of July just a tiny bit more than Christmas - maybe it is the excitment coupled with the sunshine or the incredible memories I have attached to this particular time of the year...who knows! We went to the local parade which was awesome as it lasted two hours! Then later on in the day, we went over to a friends house for a little barbecue and celebration fun. Here are two videos from the girls doing sparklers, which Addison adored and Kaitlyn was a little hesitant about but came around eventually. After that the Rockwood clan headed to the city center to watch the firework display. It was truly the best small town fireworks Brent and I have seen! The girls loved it! What a great day - just wish we could have celebrated it with all of you as well! LUMUKU!

P.S. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Rockwood for the FABULOUS 4th of July outfits - I can't tell you how many kisses the girls got blown in the parade from the Shriner Men!! :)
