Sorry...sleeping on the job!
What can I tell y'all about our lives? Well, we recently had a visit from my Dad and brother while they were on their way to Austin, Texas. That was really nice for them to reconnect with all of us! They brought down some of my boxes that have been stored in WI and the girls just loved going through it! The girls found some of my old barbies, which they are enjoying playing with - and then there were some old dance costumes, which I think they just got a bigger kick out of trying on and laughing at! Seeing your kids wear clothes that you wore when you were in highschool is a real hoot! The pictures are from Kaitlyn's fashion show of dance costumes...Addison just wanted to play with the barbies all day long (she even made voices for the different dolls...too cute!).
Also, we had a visit from a blast from the past: Nathan Purdue. The girls got a kick out of getting to know someone that knew their Daddy when he was younger. It was certainly nice to see Brent have some QT!
Kaitlyn started a soccer camp today, but because of the heat she has to be there at 7:30am. She did great and loved bouncing around with the other girls - and yes I mean bouncing because when she gets excited she sort of runs and skips all at the same time...sort of looks like bouncing! Addison did great too as she came with me and played with an extra ball on the sidelines. One of the coaches was watching her play and said that if I don't mind she can play tomorrow as long as she follows along with the older kids. So she is SO EXCITED to go to SOCCER CAMP TOO! However, here is what Mommy has gained from the soccer camp: I am not nor do I think I ever will be a morning person! Now, I am just fearful about when the kids start real school and they need to be there by 7:15am or so....we lucked out this upcoming year as Kaitlyn got the lottery for afternoon school rather than morning (starts at 1pm - yeah!). I was kind of thinking God was giving me a little softball there cause he knows I will be quite tired come October, November, December, January, February...you get the point:)
Anywho, I think that is all she wrote for this post. Baby Rockwood is doing great - we see the Dr. again July 27th - just about half way there, which is amazing! I know Chelsea, Amy, Sarah, Tara, Cortney and whoever else has begged for another photo...I will post one this week as I certainly look pregnant these days!
LOVE YOU, MISS YOU, KISS YOU.....
