countdown to Halloween...

So Good Ole' Halloween is almost upon us - the girls are certainly enjoying this time of year with the sugar highs from every angle. Today we went to a Halloween party for our neighborhood playgroup - they had pizza, cupcakes, and any other candy you could think of. Does anyone remember the days when people passed out raisins to trick-or-treaters? Tomorrow the girls have Fall parties in their classrooms, so they are wearing their Cinderella and Belle dresses to school! We made spider treats for their classes to eat...they actually turned out so cute. Just so you have an idea of what I am talking about....we took chocolate and peanut butter and melted it over chow mien noodles, then put maraschino cherries on them for eyes. I will take a picture and post it cause they do look like little spiders....but they taste GREAT!!! Neither one of the girls wanted to eat one until Mommy tried it first!
