Ode to BRENT!

Roses are red, Violets are blue, We love Brent Martin through and through! Hope everyone had a fantastic Father's Day - we certainly were no exception. We went to an arena football game the night before (which was surpringly so much fun), saw Brent's office, then because it was such a nice night we decided to get some late night snacks at an outdoor restaurant downtown that was playing live music. We stayed out with the girls until about 11pm...isn't that crazy? But it was just such a wonderful night for everyone! Then on Father's Day we made Brent breakfast and unloaded on him all his homemade treats. Next, we went to the pool and had a little picnic there and then we took Brent for his massage (another Father's Day treat!). It was a really nice day!

What else can I tell you all? The girls are both doing sports this summer. Kaitlyn is doing basketball which is on the weekends and then baseball which is during the week. Addison is doing blastball (Brent is coaching), which is like baseball with a spongy ball and you only run to one base. They both have practices and games each week, which as you could guess keeps us pretty busy- but a wonderful busy! The big LibertyFest celebration starts this weekend and the girls are entered in the kite flying contest on Sat. which should be fun - they do a night fly with lights on the kites and to a live band. We are also hitting up a rodeo as part of the festivities so that should be fun! I love watching the bull riding - it is so exciting! Kaitlyn is old enough to enter the calf round-up that the kids do, but we shall see. I certainly will post the photos and give you some tidbits on what all happened.
