Is silence really golden?

So as most of you know the girls and Brent are headed down to Texas this weekend for the Daddy Daughter Dance at our old church. The girls were so excited - and I just wish I could be a fly on the wall to see them at the big event! Of course, they are in adorable matching poofy dresses...I mean come on people how could I resist:) I have to admit though, it feels so strange to be here in the house without all of them. Seriously, I can not remember the last time either Brent or I was left alone in our own house for an extended period. (those of you with kids can relate!) I rented some movies from Blockbuster (chick flicks w/a few How I Met Your Mother Reruns)...went to the grocery store, hit up the library for a new book, and now I am thinking about going for a little walk (my usual take 15 steps and then realize I am exhausted and need to head home...Ryan this is the one you always make fun of:). You know my heart goes both ways on this...at first when the Dr. said no travel I was thinking "Yes, a whole weekend to myself...NICE" However, now I am just wishing I could be there with my family! I miss them already! (and of course I want to visit all of you in Texas too....wish we could still get together on a random afternoon or Wed. night at Central Market!) Alrighty, I am off to get some R&R!!! LOVE YOU, MISS YOU, KISS YOU....
