The Year of the Bucket List!

So here we are all clean and ready to run! Brent and I agreed that this was the year we would start checking some stuff off our life bucket list...so here is one of the ones on mine: I wanted to run a "MudRun"- check complete. For those that don't know a mudrun entails, or at least this one did, 6.2 miles of running with roughly 35 military obstacles along the way all which have mud incorporated in them some how. It was so much fun - not sure I can go back to a normal run again!
This is us right after the run....Brent was smart in wearing pants as I had little bites all over my legs from something, but I have been trying not to think about what exactly was in that mud or river we went through :)
This is how you got cleaned up after the race...it felt great! So if anyone is interested we certainly will be doing it again this year and would love to have a team together. P.S. I have a ton more posts to do from fun times, but I wanted to get this one out ASAP as I know some of you guys were thinking about trying one...BREWER!!! Lots of love

Spring Break Visits

Uncle Bobby and the Girls....they loved to see and spend time with Uncle Bobby...they were so excited when he got home from work super early on Friday to see us!
Oh all the ladies...Auntie Linda with Kaitlyn and Addison...they were cute on this trip eating their popcorn in the movie room watching Dora...I am not sure who loved it more the girls or Auntie Linda! :)
All the kiddos...jacoby loved walking everywhere around the house...he occasionally took a rest in Tassi's little seat...silly boy!
Then it was off to Austin to visit Grandma and Grandpa. So much fun playing games and hanging out....thanks guys! Here is Grandpa with his girls...playing dominos...not sure you can call what they were playing dominos but they made it work!
Grandma and the kiddos doing the doggy dance on a nice walk around their new neighborhood! We love you - thanks for everything!

Thanks everyone for hosting us. It was so wonderful and we can't wait to see you all again really soon! Sorry it took so long to post - you know I got hit with a double ear infection (which is strange for an adult) but I am not going to take it lightly with the kids anymore those things knock you out!!! :) Lots of love.

Green Galore and Loving it!

Well St. Patrick's Day has come and gone, but certainly not without a little excitement in our house. The Leprechaun came and made a huge mess in our kitchen turning over chairs and taking cushions off the couch...for some reason the girls think that on St. Patrick's Day a Leprechaun makes a mess looking for his pot of gold. After cleaning up our little fiasco, we made green lemon poppy seed muffins - totally our favorite muffins although they were a little funny looking this time around! Then we had lunch with guacamole and green chips, green peppers, and green lemonade. Next was supper, I made white chicken chili and died it all green....what a great day! We had so much fun coloring all our food - it was fantastic!

P.S. I have pictures to post from our recent visit to Texas, so I will get to that in a few days!
