Alright ladies and gents....I know I have been slacking on the blog these last few weeks - I apologize greatly! It is not as if I have had a ton going on, but it does feel like time just keeps flying by!
What can I fill you in on? Oh funny story...we were at Kaitlyn's soccer game today (which by the way she scored 4 goals all while skipping across the field - she must really like it as she never stops smiling the whole game), anywho, Addy always gets upset after the game because Kaitlyn gets a treat and she does not so today I planned for it and brought her a drink and some pretzels. She takes one look at her snack and then looks at Kate's blue Gatorade and cheese-its and shouts "Dunkin Donuts, when can I play so I get the treats?" For those of you who know Addison you know how soft spoken she is - well this was really loud and Brent and I could not stop laughing!
The girls are still taking that theatre class and they have another performance coming up at the end of May. There is talk about them taking a theatre summer camp where they put on a production at the end of the camp with costumes and all, but I am not sure about that yet.
We found another mall, which is a little closer to us today. That was nice as it was so windy outside you could not really do to much even though it was 80 degrees.
Oh, yesterday on one of Brent's off days we went to an Arts Festival in downtown Oklahoma City. That was really nice - of course we could not afford a thing, but walking around was surprisingly beautiful. The downtown area is really quite nice. It reminds me of a smaller Indianapolis. After the Arts Festival we walked over to the OKC Bombing Memorial - which was probably one of the coolest memorials I have ever seen. In fact, one part of it (because the area is so religious) were they have a statue of Jesus weeping gave me chills. If you ever come to visit remind us to take you b/c it is a must see.
Alrighty then, I think I have caught everyone up to date. Wish Brent luck in the run tomorrow (13.1 baby....) and say a little prayer for the girls and I heading to church without our sweetie! LUMUKU.....come visit!
